Band

The name Badge and Talkalot was taken by a famous Robert De Niro’s sentence from “The Untouchables” movie by Brian De Palma, playing on the antithesis between seriousness and irony.

Badge and Talkalot comes from the efforts of Gilberto Caleffi, independent producer and dj, who is hidden behind the moniker Badge. With him in the Greatest hints album as Talkalot: Eraldo Bernocchi, Liz Melody, Curtis Santiago, Ruben Scheffler and 10ace.

Gilberto Caleffi is also the founder of Still Fizzy (indie label), Direct Digital (a new media art event), Stradi Vari (creative agency), and many other things he no longer remembers.

The album

The title Greatest hints (not "hits") jokes on the opposition to the terms of greatness and humility but in a sense it is also a "best of" as it was written and recorded around the world between 2006 and 2008.

Greatest Hints was mixed by Taketo Gohara at Officine Meccaniche and mastered by Giovanni Versari at Nautilus.
